CHIEF IMAM TO GUARANTEE LOAN FOR STUDENTS

As part of his commitment to assist poor Muslim youths to attain higher education and by extension help promote education in the Muslim communities, the National Chief Imam, Sheikh Dr. Osumanu Nuhu Sharubutu, says his education trust fund, (SONSETFUND), will serve as a guarantor to all needy Muslim students at the tertiary level to access the Student Loan Trust Fund. The Student Loan Trust Fund (SLTF) wishes to notify all borrowers of the fund that loan repayment can be made at any branch of the following partner banks nation wide:

1. Ecobank Ghana Limited (EBG)   -   E-COLLECT

2. National Investment Bank (NIB)  -  SPECIAL SLTF PAY-IN SLIP

3. Ghana Commercial Bank (GCB)  - SMART PAY

Please go to the bank with your Social Security Number used in applying for the loan.

EMPLOYERS NOTICE

The Student Loan Trust Fund (SLTF) wishes to bring to the attention of all employers in both the private and public sectors that section 24 of the Students Loan Fund Act, 2011 act 820 enjoins employers to ascetain from employees who are beneficiaries of student loans about their status and report those who have not fully repaid their loans to the SLTF.

Deductions withheld can be paid at the Head office of the SLTF at no. 47, 3rd Crescent Avenue Asylum Down, near Highgate Hotel or into A/C below:
